It's Almost Always The Same Question.

No matter your position in life, most everyone has the same question:

What should I do with “X” to become successful or to avoid squandering the opportunity?

I met recently with Bob and Sara, who have two little boys and are really interested in stewarding their high income well. Bob was in the military for eight years and is now a physician and a junior partner in a practice. Sara, who recently stepped away from a veterinarian practice to be a stay-at-home mom, would like to one day explore how to use her license.

Their two sons are 5 and under, and they would like to make sure they prepare themselves, as well as their kids, for success without living a lavish lifestyle.

Their main goals are:
Tithe 10% of their money to their church
Pay off their student loan debts
Invest for retirement and their kids’ futures

One area they emphasized that they wanted to focus on was having the right investment strategy to give them flexibility in the future as their needs change.

Bob also needs help structuring retirement accounts since he is a junior partner and receives a K-1 for his income. There’s also a need to work closely with a CPA who can help guide him through tax mitigation strategies.

We ended the conversation agreeing that we want to keep things simple, flexible, and have a plan guide the decision-making between all of us.

If you or someone you know needs to have this conversation, I offer a free 20-minute call to connect on the topic of your/their finances.
